This month, our guests are Liz McSkeane and Ross Hattaway

Liz McSkeane
Liz McSkeane was born in Glasgow and has lived in Dublin since 1981. Her début novel, “Canticle,” published by Turas Press in 2018, was a winner in the Irish Writers’ Centre Novel Fair, 2016. She has three collections of poetry: “In Flight” (Lapwing, 1996); “Snow at the Opera House” (2002, New Island); and “So Long, Calypso,” (Turas Press, 2017). In 1999, she was overall winner of the Sunday Tribune / Hennessy New Irish Writer of the Year award for her poetry. Her short stories and poems have been published in Ireland and the UK. Liz founded Turas Press in 2017, www.turaspress.ie.She tweets at @EMcSkeane and blogs on www.elizabethmcskeane.com

Ross Hattaway

Ross Hattaway has been published widely, and has read in Ireland, the UK, the USA, Australia, New Zealand and Lithuania. He is a founder member and organiser of the Sunflower Sessions in Dublin. He has three collections of poetry: “How to Sleep with Strangers” (Turas Press, 2017); “The Gentle Art of Rotting,” (Seven Towers, 2006); and “Pretending to Be Dead” (Seven Towers, 2012).

The night begins at 8.00pm and admission is free. So join us on the night and make this event something special.
NOTE: Our special authors book table will again be in operation, so if you want your book, CD’s etc publicised make sure you are represented on the table. Contact Dominic Taylor at 087 2996409 to make arrangements.
